FirstStop Partners

FirstStop was launched in August 2008 by founder partners Counsel and Care, EAC, Help the Aged and NHFA, helped by seed funding provided by the Big Lottery Fund.

Since then it has evolved, thanks in large part to Government (DCLG) funding, into a fast growing network of local and national partner organisations, led by EAC and working together to deliver good quality information and advice to older people and their families.

We aim to work with local authorities, local agencies and older people's groups that provide, or would like to provide, housing and care advice services. Our brochure A fresh approach to later life illustrates our vision for FirstStop Advice, and provides a framework for the conversation we would like to have with you.
