FirstStop Advice Line

Our Advice Line is a free, professional, confidential and independent service. It is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and calls are free from BT phones on 0800 377 7070.

You can also email our Advice Line for a response within 24 hours. 

 

When you ring the Advice Line for the first time, you will speak first to one of our main advice team.

FirstStop main advice team

Our main advice team is based at Help the Aged. They are Frances Auger and Deborah Currivan.

If you need more specialist information or advice, you may be invited to speak to one of our specialist teams. Once you have spoken to any of our specialist staff, they will give you their direct dial number in case you want to contact them again.

FirstStop care specialists

Our care specialists are based in Counsel and Care. They are Gill Coombs, Sandra Korateng, Pat Lacroix, Garry Macdonald, Marie Morris, Nisa Tanin, Emma Williams and Trevor Greenidge.

FirstStop housing specialists

Our housing specialists are based in EAC. They are Sheila Coles, John Plimsoll and Dominic Regan.

FirstStop finance specialists

Our finance specialists are based in NHFA. They are Irene Borland Sue Rodger and Lee Sharples.

 

Any information you provide about yourself will be available to Advisors in each of the FirstStop partner organisations, so that you don’t have to tell your story afresh if you need to speak to more than one.

We will not share your information with anyone else without your permission, and we will look after any information you provide in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
