Supporting People
Supporting People is a Government run programme that funds services to help older people and others to live independently at home. Local Councils have responsibility for identifying what the local needs are, for funding the services to meet those needs, and making sure that the services are effective and of good quality. They have contracts with the organisations providing the services which specify the type of service to be provided
