FirstStop and Care & Repair England launch training programme for advisors

Care & Repair England is running an extensive programme of training in delivering 'housing options' advice. Devised by Sue Adams, Director of Care & Repair, and delivered by her and her team, regional training courses will be of value to all front line staff providing general information, advice and assistance to older people. Further dates to be announced.

A self-training module, entitled Advising older people about their housing choices in later life: A self training module for advisers is also available free of charge. (See downloads below)

Both the courses and self-training pack are sponsored by Communities and Local Government (CLG) as part of its overall investment in FirstStop Advice.
