Care & Repair England launches FirstStop self-training module on care choices in later life

Advising older people about their care choices in later life is Care & Repair England's latest contribution to FirstStop's training programme. It is a self-training module, designed to meet the needs of staff who work with older people in a variety of settings as well as older people who are group and community leaders and activists.

A companion module Advising older people about their housing choices in later life was published earlier this year, and both are part of a programme sponsored by the Department for Communities and Local Government Department (DCLG) as part of its overall investment in FirstStop Advice. They are available to browse or download FREE (see below).

A third publication, Housing choices in later life: A self training guide, is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of staff, volunteers and older people.
