Goodwin Development Trust

We are a 230-strong Development Trust based in the heart of Hull serving all of the communities of Hull and the East Riding. Once you contact us, you and any of your extended family and friends are entitled to use any of our Family of Services – some of which are FREE of charge.

Our services are for people of all ages, but our focus is on supporting you to live independently. We do this by providing advice and one-to-one support on issues such as housing, care and welfare.

Lord Mayor opens Danny's Dream Club

Goodwin’s Danny’s Dream Club on Walker St was packed out by the great and the good this week for the Grand Opening of the building by Lord Mayor Danny Brown.

Danny’s Dream offers a combination of home, leisure, health and domiciliary care primarily to service users with learning disabilities and complex health and social care needs.

We offer an approach that focuses on the needs of the individual person, rather than one that is only service-centred.

We see the person first and not their disability, we use everyday language rather than jargon, we proactively search for ‘can do’ options and give strength to the voice of our service users.
